SUMMER THEATER CAMPS 1 and 2

SUMMER THEATER CAMP 1
SKILL DEVELOPMENT
ages 8-15
July 22-26, MON to FRI, 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm
15 hours of instruction
$220
Topics covered:
Acting & reacting, becoming a character, emotions, singing & harmonizing, dance & body control, confidence in improv, reacting as your character, fun with drama games
SUMMER ROCK BAND
minimum: one year of lesson experience
1 hour rehearsals, twice per week
6 weeks in summer, dates being selected
12 hours of instruction
$250
Topics covered: rehearsing classic band repertoire
Optional, one separate band working with a focus on SONGWRITING.
PRIVATE LESSONS
Many of our teachers offer summer music lessons! Call to find out more about what instrument you could study, with whom, and when!
SUMMER THEATER CAMP 2
ONE ACT PLAY
ages 9-15
August 12-16, MON to FRI, 12:00-4:00 pm
20 hours of instruction
$275
Pre-requisite required for this class: previous participation in one of Miss Emily's previous Summer or Fall/Winter classes, or optional audition.
CAMPFIRE GUITAR/UKE for ADULTS
For beginners
$15 each class
Sundays and Wednesdays 7:30 pm-8:30 pm
Drop-In classes with cumulative material over the summer
Starts with 2-chord songs, then 3 chord songs,
and then 4 chord songs
Strum and sing along
Start off the summer meeting in the Leduc School of Music and Art, and by end of summer, we will meet outdoors in local parks.
A great way to build confidence and build community!
